PagePilot Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PagePilot website monitoring service ("Service") provided by PagePilot at pagepilot-72.polsia.app. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

PagePilot is an AI-powered website monitoring service. It uses a headless browser to load your specified URLs, captures screenshots, and uses AI (GPT-4o) to compare page states over time. When changes or downtime are detected, PagePilot sends alerts to your configured email address or webhook endpoint.

Key features:

  • Uptime monitoring: detects when a monitored page becomes unreachable
  • Change detection: identifies content changes on monitored pages using AI visual comparison
  • Alert delivery: sends email and/or webhook notifications when issues are detected
  • Pricing: $19 per monitored page per month, billed monthly in advance

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to notify us immediately at pagepilot-72@polsia.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use PagePilot to:

  • Monitor URLs you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any third-party systems
  • Spam, harass, or interfere with any website's normal operation
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

PagePilot reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Monitoring Frequency and Availability

  • PagePilot runs checks at intervals configured by you (default: every 10 minutes)
  • The Service is provided "as is." We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • Scheduled downtime for maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for missed checks due to third-party service failures (e.g., OpenAI, Render infrastructure)

5. Fees and Payment

  • Pricing: $19 per monitored page per month, prepaid monthly
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. PagePilot does not store your card details
  • All fees are non-refundable after the billing period begins, unless required by applicable law
  • If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to retry. The Service may be paused if payment is not received within 14 days
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice posted on this page

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the URLs and alert configuration you provide to the Service. By using PagePilot, you grant us a limited license to access and process those URLs solely for the purpose of providing the monitoring Service.

You represent that you have the legal right to monitor the URLs you add to PagePilot.

7. Intellectual Property

PagePilot name, logo, and design are property of PagePilot. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

The Service itself, including all software, documentation, and infrastructure, is provided under license. You do not acquire ownership rights by using it.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • OpenAI for AI-powered page comparison
  • Meta Pixel for analytics (see our Privacy Policy)

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. PagePilot is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PagePilot is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Errors or interruptions in the monitoring Service
  • Actions taken based on alerts (you are responsible for evaluating and responding to alerts independently)

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PagePilot, its operators, and affiliated parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service in an unlawful manner.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at pagepilot-72@polsia.app or through the Settings page in your dashboard.

PagePilot may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • Your account is used for illegal activity
  • Payment is more than 30 days overdue

Upon termination, your monitored pages and alert history will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you via email or the dashboard.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PagePilot operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
